Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 May 2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Pythoria website at pythoriagat.biz and to enrolment in any of our courses or programmes. By using the site or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Pythoria is operated by Pythoria, located at 62 Jalan Macalister, 10400 George Town, Penang, Malaysia. If you have questions about anything here, you are welcome to contact us before enrolling.

1. Use of the Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that could damage or interfere with its normal operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content without our written permission
  • Submit false or misleading information through any form or communication
  • Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any course materials without permission

2. Course Enrolment

When you enrol in a Pythoria course or programme, a contract is formed between you and Pythoria based on the course details and price presented at the time of purchase.

Our three current offerings are:

  • Stack Start Course — RM 540, self-paced access to written modules, video walkthroughs, and exercises
  • Practical Stack Cohort — RM 1,540, ten-week cohort with live sessions and written feedback
  • Full Studio Programme — RM 4,300, eight-month programme with mentor reviews and portfolio work

Course descriptions, session schedules, and included materials are as stated on the relevant course page at the time of enrolment. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to course content, session timing, or delivery format where necessary, and will communicate any significant changes to enrolled learners in advance.

3. Payment

All prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable taxes where required by law. Payment is due at the time of enrolment unless instalment arrangements have been agreed in advance.

The Full Studio Programme (RM 4,300) may be available on an instalment plan — please contact us for details. Instalment arrangements are subject to a separate written agreement.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

We understand that circumstances change. Our refund approach is as follows:

  • Stack Start Course: Full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than the first module.
  • Practical Stack Cohort: Full refund within 7 days of enrolment confirmation, or before the first live session begins (whichever is sooner). After this, no refund is available.
  • Full Studio Programme: Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of enrolment. If you are on an instalment plan, outstanding payments remain due according to your agreement.

To request a refund, please email [email protected] with your enrolment details.

5. Course Access and Materials

Upon enrolment, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access the course materials for your own learning purposes. You may not:

  • Share your login credentials or course materials with others
  • Record, distribute, or publish live session content without written permission
  • Resell or sublicense course materials in any form

Access to self-paced content remains available for a period of 12 months from enrolment unless otherwise stated. Cohort and programme access timelines are as described in the respective course details.

6. Qualifications and Outcomes

Our courses are educational in nature and are designed for self-motivated learners. Completion of a Pythoria course does not result in a formal academic qualification, degree, or nationally recognised certification. Any certificates of completion issued by Pythoria are internal documents acknowledging course participation and are not accredited by any external body. We make no claims about employment outcomes.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, written content, exercises, and recordings produced by Pythoria remain the intellectual property of Pythoria. Personal projects and code that you create as part of your coursework belong to you. If feedback or code examples are contributed by instructors during your course, those contributions remain for your personal learning use only.

8. Conduct in Course Spaces

We want course discussions and live sessions to be helpful and respectful for everyone. You agree not to post or transmit content that is:

  • Offensive, discriminatory, or harassing toward other learners or instructors
  • Spam, promotional material, or content unrelated to the course
  • Misleading, false, or designed to disrupt the learning environment

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards or to suspend access for learners who repeatedly breach them. Refunds are not available in cases of access suspension due to conduct.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Pythoria is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or courses
  • Technical interruptions, platform downtime, or third-party service failures outside our control
  • Any decision you make based on information or skills acquired through our courses

Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course.

10. Privacy

Your use of this site and our courses is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle your personal information in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If you are an enrolled learner and changes materially affect your course, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you by email. Continued use of the site or course materials after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
